Diese Woche war das große Mädchen im Zwergenskikurs, es ist toll, wie schnell sie innerhalb der 1,5h täglich Kurvenfahren, Bremsen und Liftfahren gelernt hat.
Wir sind so stolz und am Freitag hat sie beim Abschlussrennen eine Goldmedaille gewonnen!
Die ersten drei Tage stand ich mit am Zwergenhang, als sie am Mittwoch dann auf den "großen" Hang gingen, nahm ich am Donnerstag meine eigenen Skier mit und stand das erste Mal seit 10 Jahren wieder auf Skiern - uiiii!
This week the tall girl was in a "Dwarf Ski Course". It is great how quickly she learned in just 1,5 hrs a day how to carve, break and use the lift.
We are so proud of her and on Friday she won her first Gold Medal in the final race!
The first days I was standing at the "Dwarf Slope" and as they were going to the "big" slope on Wednesday I was taking my Skies along with me on Thursday and was standing on them the first time after 10 years - uiiii!
Heute waren wir beide dann das erste Mal zusammen Skifahren, herrlicher Sonnenschein, eine leere Piste und das große Mädchen ist mir prima hinterher gefahren und Papi und der kleine Mann jubelten uns zu.
This morning we went skiing the first time together, beautiful sunshine, an empty slope and the tall girl followed me great and Daddy and the little man were cheering.
Während der kleine Mann seinen Mittagsschlaf gehalten hat, habe ich für das große Mädchen ein neues Sommerkleid genäht.
Dieses Mal habe ich einen Zick-Zack-Stich genommen, um einen Elastikfaden an den Ärmeln einzunähen. Ich finde es ist ganz schön geworden, nicht so steif, wie mit einem Gummiband.
Den Knopf habe ich von einer Freundin bekommen, erkennst Du ihn wieder?
While the little man was holding his nap I was sewing a summer dress for the tall girl. This time I was just sewing a zig-zack stitch to hold a thin elastic thread on the sleeves, I think it came out very nice, better as with a normal elastic, which can be stiff sometimes.
